The event, held on 17 April 2024, was significantly attended by over 1900 operators from Italy and the entire EMEA ecosystem, reflecting the growing importance of Milan in the European Data Centre scene and the centrality of this industry in our country.
During the DCN, the latest developments of the Edge Data Center project, the Italian Data Centre infrastructure that will enable Edge technology and offer Server Housing services, were unveiled.
This pioneering initiative is a response to the growing need for high-capacity computing services and aims to provide data center solutions tailored to local needs, with a focus on scalability, reliability and flexibility.
The new network represents a significant expansion of the country’s IT infrastructure, and the first batch of edge data centers, currently nearing completion, is already open for visits by potential customers interested in exploring firsthand the capabilities and services offered. Rai Way consolidates its leadership in technological innovation, supporting digital evolution and responding effectively to the growing demands of the market.
