Luca Beltramino presents Rai Way Edge during the Datacenter Nation in Zurich

On November 7, Rai Way Edge made its international debut at “Datacenter Nation” in Zurich. During the event, Luca Beltramino, Rai Way’s Chief Datacenter Officer, introduced the Rai Way Edge data center network, distributed nationwide.

This infrastructure plays a crucial role in shaping the digital future of Italy by offering proximity services, reducing distances between data, and enabling processing close to the end user. This project establishes the foundation of the so-called “Fourth Internet,” characterized by a decentralized, low-latency network.
