Rai Way Edge in Rome at the NAMEX event

Great turnout at the NAMEX event on 7 June, where the presence of Rai Way Edge was warmly welcomed.

In his speech, Luca Beltramino, Rai Way’s Chief Datacenter Officer, underlined the centrality of the concept of decongesting the network through the regionalization of data traffic operating in the area and the significant expected growth of the DC infrastructure market.

The Rai Way Edge solution “was created with the aim of enabling Continuum Computing through a large 40 MW national data center in Rome, connected to a network of 18 Edge Data Centers in the regional capitals, thus covering the 20 Italian regions with low-latency proximity services”, explained Beltramino.
